Lee Adams

Lee is the son of an ocean-going tugboat captain from south Louisiana. His love for the water and nature is part of his DNA.
His inspiration for painting comes from the artistry he sees in nature. He finds the design and beauty found in animal and plant life amazing. The paintings you'll enjoy come from photographs and memories of the places he's visited and lived, and his imagination — from the swamps and marshes of south Louisiana and Mississippi, to the Yucatán peninsula, the Scottish Highlands, the beaches, and sub-tropical rainforests of Australia. Through his art you'll smell the salt air of the ocean, feel the humidity of the swamp, and the warmth of the sun. You won't just visit and experience these places in your imagination — you'll be there.
